Zones 4-8. Brilliant red fall color. This improved selection is much less prone to winter damage than older cultivars. The rounded plants can create an interesting focal point in your yard, both individually or when used as a hedge. The attractive foliage is glossy green in summer before taking on its brilliant hues in fall. Full sun brings out the best color. Can be kept shorter with pruning. Drought tolerant once established.
